Come and learn blacksmithing techniques in our amazing outdoor classroom! This course is suitable for beginners and those with limited experience, and will be kept to a small group so that you have plenty of personal instruction time. We will learn how to make charcoal, fire up the outdoor forges and experiement with a range of blacksmithing techniques. When we have mastered the basic skills, we will start work on an individual project to take home - maybe a fire poker, a candle holder, a simple knife or something of your own design.

Like all of our courses, this is about the journey more than the destination. We would sooner you end up with a simple item that you have made from start to finish, rather than a something that has been largely done for you! We will have fun along the way, and will also fit in time for swimming, exploring and sitting around the campfire in the evening.

All your food is provided, which we will cook together as a group over our rocket stoves. We can cater for all dietary requirements.
